FANALYTICS: Asking the right questions

It's somewhat counterintuitive, but the most underused features on this site are the ones where you can have a direct connection to the analysts here. It's odd because everyone seems to crave a personalized online experience. It's one thing to read the articles here, yet quite another to have your own questions answered. Yet only about a third of our subscribers visit the reader forums, and only a fraction of those are regulars.
The weekly chats that we run each Wednesday at USAToday.com are under-attended as well. Yes, you don't always get your question answered, but I have to tell you that your odds are pretty darn good. I'm probably answering 25-30 questions out of a queue that's maybe 100 deep.
