When it comes to trading, we are incredibly lazy.
This past week, I received an email from an owner in one of my leagues that said, simply, "Anyone have a 3Bman they could spare?"
My initial response (which I didn't write, I just thought) was, "You've got a lot of nerve making me work for you. Maybe I have a 3Bman I could spare, maybe I don't. But what's my incentive to even look? Because I'm a nice guy? If you are ahead of me in the standings, I'm not really feeling all too nice right now."
Ordinarily, I'd just click DELETE. But I knew that some other owner would take the bait, and take the time to do the work that this original owner should have done in the first place. He'll look at his roster, determine his needs, and check...
