Larry Schechter's "Winning Fantasy Baseball" is about the most frightening book I have ever read.
Let's start with the most important fact: Larry's track record in national fantasy competition is obscene. He was the first two-time grand prize winner in the CDM Diamond Challenge. He's won LABR; he owns Tout Wars. He won three mixed league titles in a row, and when he was "promoted" to the AL-only league, whipped us for another three straight years. He comes into 2014 as the defending champion. Again.
Larry is not an industry insider or a full-time baseball analyst. He is the president of a financial services company. Yet Larry owns six Tout Wars titles in nine tries. Nobody else has won more than three in the league's 16-year history.
