LINEUP OUTLOOK: Three rookies worth tracking down the stretch

This will be the last lineup outlook this season, hopefully it's helped identify targets along the way. With this in mind, it's never too early to hone in on players of interest for 2023. Three rookies have been producing this month. Josh Jung set a franchise record for extra-base hits, Corbin Carroll has produced a .912 on-base plus slugging percentage (OPS) through his first contests, and injuries have cleared a path toward playing time for David Villar. Two of these three hitters profile as potential power upside candidates, while Carroll profiles as a fantasy darling with 20-plus home run and stolen base upside as soon as next year.
