Fantasy baseball season is flying by, with less than two weeks remaining until the All-Star break. And with most of the current series set to wrap up later today, teams have just three series on their schedule before we all get four days to clear our heads.

Wise owners will see the period between now and the All-Star break as a season within the season. Sure, an owner isn’t going to cut José Abreu (1B, CHW) on the basis of the White Sox having an undesirable schedule in the coming days. But when adding free agents to substitute for an injured or underperforming player, using the upcoming schedule could help an owner to be in better standing when we reach the Mid-Season Classic.
