ALTERNATIVE: Building a winning Strat team—2013 hitters

With the release of the 2012 Strat-O-Matic ratings, we again tier the levels of talent to help you build a winning team. Most of our tiers also apply to other simulation games like Diamond Mind and APBA, but their specific ratings may differ.
In this set, you need to exploit the shortage of shortstops, right fielders, first and third basemen. Plenty of top options exist at catcher and especially left field. We also will point out sleepers at each position, so you can find more reasonably priced or undervalued contributors at scarce positions.

The 2012 season featured more top options than most recent seasons. Yadier Molina (C, STL) tops the list as he offers the complete package of hits, on base, defense, and power....
