ALTERNATIVE: Using historical statistics to plan for 2013 challenge season

To kick off the 2013 challenge season, BaseballHQ.com will use a category-based system to help owners target players in the CDM Sports Baseball Challenge Games. This article will identify the category values needed in the Diamond Challenge (DC) game along with the points needed per player for the points-style games.

The category-based system measures how much a hitter must contribute in the five hitting categories and how much a pitcher must contribute in the five pitching categories to finish in the top 25.
