KEEPERS: Post Mortem: 2015 takeaways—Part II

This past week ​we summarized some general trends and notes of interest from 2015 for you to mull over and incorporate into your off-season activity. This is Part II of that effort.

6. Experienced foreign imports continue to make an immediate impact. ​ There was nothing in 2015 like the 2014 MLB debuts of Jose Abreu or even a (pre-injury) Masahiro Tanaka. But there were some high notes. Following a rough spring training and some 1H struggles vs RHPs, Korean import Jung-ho Kang finished with a terrific 2H line of .308/.367/.530 with 11 HR while alternating between SS and 3B for PIT. His plate skills have plenty of room for improvement, but Kang's 2H turnaround offers promise going forward. Likewise, CIN RHP Rasiel Iglesias struggled...
