So the MLB trade deadline is (nearly) upon us. Rumors are flying around: this guy's moving, that guy's staying put, etc. Two things we know: there will be a lot of player movement in the days prior to the deadline (there's been a handful of moves already), and there will be some surprises (both players coming and going).

What we will address here is how to approach the trade deadline tactically and strategically.
