ROTISSERIE: Managing in-season injuries at the draft table

In a recent column, we outlined some injury trends from 2017, including the new 10-day DL. The number of DL moves jumped by 22% in 2017, with the number of players hitting the DL (533) rivaling the number of players with 200+ AB or 50+ IP (685). The 10-day DL isn’t going away any time soon, so you need to factor it into your draft planning and roster management strategies. The change has been a headache for fantasy GMs, no doubt; however, there are some simple steps you can take, especially at the draft table, to minimize its impact.
