Someday, someone will come up with a good reason why fantasy players feel remorse after their drafts. We don’t mean anecdotal evidence but some hard studies. After Draft Day many fantasy players feel the reverse of the Endowment Effect, where instead of overvaluing what they own they undervalue it.
The more experienced fantasy owner falls prey to this less often than the tyro, but doubt still creeps into their psyches. After that first 1-10, they start to have doubts. When Tim Lincecum gets hammered the doubts strengthen. And then, one blown save and panic sets in.
