Sometimes fantasy baseball giveth and sometimes it taketh away in cold-hearted fashion. Despite a great draft, you got off to a slow start as your hitters were cold in April. Buoyed by the thoughts of regression to the mean, you strode confidently in to May, expecting it to be the great equalizer that it is. A few trades to shore up your weak points, a positive regression and you are right back in the thick of things.

You do your best, but with six or seven guys on the DL you cannot even rotate guys in to alleviate the problem. You can drop lower-tier guys, and you do so to pick up stopgaps.
