SCORESHEET: Looking for arms in the July supplemental draft

 

For Scoresheet owners, the supplemental drafts—five times a year in Scoresheet-run leagues—are the only stabs at the free-agent pool. And after drafting in April and May to cover early injuries and playing time issues, and then (in keeper leagues) snatching up the influx of MLB draft talent in June, you might think your roster work is primarily done.

Ah, but you would be mistaken. In Scoresheet, like the majors, a team can never have enough pitching. Whether it's another starter for depth against potential injury or another couple relievers to shorten those games at the end, pitching is at a premium.
