Cortes debuts at Petco Park

Nestor Cortes is set to make his debut at Petco Park as a member of the Padres. He will be taking on the Giants for a second consecutive start with the previous resulting in a PQS-3. In his eight-year career he has always pitched much better at home (3.27 ERA, 1.06 WHIP) and will be looking to take advantage of the matchup today. The opposing Giants have a .607 OPS versus left-handed pitching which is the worst in MLB.
