The overall slate is highlighted by a an AL East bird battle (TOR@BAL), a potential October preview (NYY@SEA), and a compelling interleague tilt (MIN@LA). That middle game offers up an intriguing pitching matchup with the Yankees sending out Gerrit Cole against the Mariners’ Luis Castillo. And, in general, the slate is loaded with top-shelf pitching options, and that bears out in the green-tinged Matchup Ratings. Weather-wise, rain could impact a hot, humid Reds-Mets contest at Citi Field.
