DAILY MATCHUPS: Chris Sale to heat up the desert on Friday

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: We have a full 15-game slate, starting with a Wrigley Field matinee between Hunter Greene and Justin Steele. The weather looks good today, with a slight chance of rain in Colorado, even with some decent pitching on today’s slate, with six games with nine or higher run totals.

Chris Sale has looked much more like the ace of old as he continues to get farther away from his injury-riddled 2022 season. In his three May starts, Sale has three quality starts where he has thrown at least six innings while allowing three runs or less, with one walk in each start and at least eight strikeouts. He has a very solid 2.5 overall rating today versus the DBacks with an even better 3.0 strikeout...
