Kevin Gausman draws the top scores in projected strikeouts, ERA, and WHIP. His victory odds are canceled out by his opponent's strength (Tampa, and Shane McClanahan's return). While he’s continued to pitch well in a general sense, four of his last 10 appearances have been disappointing. Gausman has struggled with home runs of late, allowing 1.40 HR/9 since mid-July. The Rays have a modest offense against right-handed pitchers, recording a 23.8 percent strikeout rate and 102 wRC+ on the season. They’ve performed particularly well over the last month.
