DAILY MATCHUPS: Skubal to finish a great season v Royals

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather. We have 16 games on tap today, with the Marlins and Mets playing a doubleheader. With the remnants of the hurricane working through the East Coast, there are some threats of rain, but most games should play without a problem. Pitching is suspect today, resulting in a lot of run totals of nine or higher.

Notable Starts:

Tarik Skubal is coming off a dominating start where he threw seven shutout innings with ten strikeouts versus the A’s. It has been an excellent season for Skubal, and over his last five starts, he has a 1.41 ERA and 2.60 xFIP with a 31.9% K-BB%. Skubal will look to keep the good times rolling against a Royals team that is striking out 24.4% of the time versus LHP over the past month...
