DAILY MATCHUPS: Taillon's turnaround tour turns to Reds on Thursday

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: Eleven games are on the slate for the first Thursday in August. The eight teams with off days are ATL, BOS, CLE, COL, DET, SD, TAM, and WAS. The short schedule and the tumble of rotations has top-notch talent in short supply, and Thursday’s Matchup Ratings reflect that. Only four pitchers have a rating of 1.5 or better.
