Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: The final Tuesday of the season is a swollen 18-game slate with the action ranging from mid-afternoon to late-evening. Rain threatens the northeast, particularly Baltimore, Boston, and New York. Sadly, only the Mets and Braves (and Aaron Judge) are playing with anything on the line, and even that’s just a longshot scenario for the Mets to reclaim the division title. The Braves magic number is one. The Mets and Nationals have a doubleheader scheduled today, though it might be necessary to push one leg of it back to tomorrow. The Yankees-Rangers and Tigers-Mariners are also scheduled for two games.
