DAILY MATCHUPS: Wheeler tabbed as one of Tuesday's top options

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: Fifteen games are on the slate, and all 30 teams will tee it up. The schedule features a lot of interleague games and perhaps even more starters rated in the midrange on the Match-Up Ratings. Rainy weather could impact three games: CLE-CIN, BOS-WAS, and PIT-NYM.

Notable Starts:

Zack Wheeler owns a 1.91 ERA, 0.96 WHIP over his last six road starts. Tuesday’s effort at Toronto has him squaring off against a Blue Jays club that has clocked a .658 OPS over its last seven games and a .651 OPS over its last 13 at home. The consistent Wheeler hasn’t gone less than seven innings in a start since July 1. He has not walked more than one batter in a game since June 25.
