DOUBLE DIPPIN': May 3-9

It is a great feeling to scoop up a two-start pitcher off the waiver wire and see him deliver back-to-back gems for your fantasy team. But nothing hurts worse than watching the starter you picked up get rocked, which is what happened on Monday to those who grabbed Austin Gomber for last week's two-step.

As usual, we're going to dig into some two-start pitchers for the coming week and take a look at their matchups. Just let the Gomber disaster be a reminder that while good matchups are nice on paper, the skill level of a pitcher is the more important factor to consider when scouring the wire for potential pickups. As always, for all of the matchups and ratings for the week, check out our 8-day scan.
