Gore looks to take advantage of solid matchup on Friday

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: We have a full day of baseball action today, starting with the Cubs and White Sox at 2:20 pm ET. There has been some bumpy weather of late, but it appears things are getting better, and we should avoid any postponements. We have some good pitching on tap, but plenty of suspect arms, as evidenced by at least four games with projected totals of nine runs or more.

MacKenzie Gore is coming off a rough start where he allowed four runs over 6.2 innings with three walks and seven strikeouts. Despite the four earned runs, Gore has a 3.59 ERA and 2.59 SIERA with an outstanding 27.7% K-BB. Gore faces an Orioles offense struggling versus LHP over the past month, hitting .165 with a .081 ISO...
