Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: There are 12 games on the Monday schedule. First pitch comes early at 12:20pm ET with the Braves hosting the Padres in a double-header. There is a chance of rain in the Tigers-Royals game.

Chris Sale will be looking to extend his streak of earning the win, which now stands at five straight. Four of those last five starts have resulted in a PQS-DOM. He has allowed only four ER across his last four starts while putting up a 34/2 K/BB in 25 IP. Since joining the Braves his skills are in vintage form (2.53 xERA, 50% GB%, 31% K%). The Padres have struggled against left-handed pitching this season with a .209 BA and .629 OPS.
