Today's slate features a healthy number of strong start options, and at the top, two dominant pitchers looking to feast on weak opponents.

Freddy Peralta is rated highly for his start against the Cubs, but looking at his month-by-month numbers, the trend has not been his friend: ERA (3.58, 4.08, 5.11); xERA (3.01, 3.62, 3.81); K-BB% (25%, 21%, 16%). That said, his June xERA and K-BB% are still pretty good, and the Cubs have been a bottom-ten offense on the year, so his overall outlook for this start is good… just maybe...
