Wheeler looks to shoulder the load versus Nats

Today's Overview/Schedule/Weather: We have a full slate of games, starting with the Pirates and Cubs at 2:20 pm EST. We have dealt with some rough weather on the East Coast, but hopefully, we can get all the games in, just like we have lately. We have a lot of suspect pitching today, leading to at least eight games with totals of nine runs or more.

Zack Wheeler had his last start pushed back a couple of days, but was still solid, allowing two runs over five innings pitched with seven strikeouts. Wheeler has struggled a bit over his previous five starts, allowing 15 earned runs over 28.2 innings pitched for a 4.71 ERA, but a 2.63 SIERA and 28.2% K-BB suggest Wheeler’s skills are still solid.
