AL Central: Baldwin making case to stick in lineup

Brooks Baldwin has had a pretty mediocre season overall, with a .232/.289/.400 slash line through 232 PA. But he has been hot over the last few weeks, to the tune of a .325/.400/.600 line and 3 HR through 45 August PA.

Baldwin has been making real solid contact, with a 158/157 PX/xPX combo in the second half. He also brings plenty of defensive versatility to the table, as he has made double-digit appearances at every position besides catcher and first base. Baldwin has started 15 of the last 17 games and as long as he keeps hitting, he should stick in the lineup on a pretty regular basis. 

One player who appears to be getting squeezed by Baldwin's hot streak and the recent return of Miguel Vargas is Curtis Mead. Acquired...
