AL Central: Are Allen, Jobe at risk of losing their jobs?

Logan Allen had another subpar outing on Thursday in which he allowed 11 baserunners and 3 ER in 4 IP. He has as many walks as strikeouts (9) over 14 IP in his last three starts. Overall, Allen now owns a 4.33 ERA, with a 5.43 xERA, 1.67 WHIP, and 6.4% SwK, but the organization doesn't have any obvious replacements for him.

Slade Cecconi suffered an oblique strain in March that has kept him out the first six weeks of the season. He has recently made a couple of rehab starts in which he has allowed 5 ER in 7.1 IP with a 7/2 K/BB. Cecconi could soon be an option to replace Allen but is far from a sure thing himself. In 20 appearances (13 starts) with Arizona in 2024 he put up a 6.66 ERA with a 4.78 xERA, 18% K%, and 1.9...
