Following the deadline acquisition of Lane Thomas (OF, CLE), Will Brennan (OF, CLE) was sent down to Triple-A. But after going 13-for-31 with a homer and 4 SB, he was brought back up to the big league club on August 9, where he has since started five-of-six games vs. right-handed starters.

Jhonkensy Noel (OF, CLE) has primarily served as a short-side platoon bat but could be taking on a larger role, which combined with the return of Brennan, creates quite the logjam. The 23-year-old recently sat seven straight games against a right-handed starter but has since started three of the last four against them.
