AL East: Blaze-ing hot Alexander earning more at-bats

Almost a month has now passed since Jackson Holliday’s return from the IL, but the split of playing time between the infielders whose roles were at risk of being diminished (Jeremiah Jackson, Coby Mayo, and Blaze Alexander) has still been in flux.
Jackson is the clear playing time loser among the bunch, as he’s garnered just two starts since May 28 and the team pinch-hit for him in both games.
Mayo and Alexander, though, have been in a playing time battle. Both players have been regulars against left-handed pitching; however, in most games against right-handed starters, the team has had just one lineup spot between the two at third base.
