Kyle Harrison, one of the notable parts of Boston’s return from the Rafael Devers trade, made his debut as a part of the organization on June 26, starting for AAA-Worcester. 

While Harrison’s line (4 IP, 8 H, 4 ER, 4 K, 1 BB) was unimpressive, the start represented the beginning of the team’s process to acclimate Harrison with their pitching development program. The main focus of Harrison’s work has been refining his pitch mix, with the team adding a cutter and a sinker, both of which were thrown during his appearance on June 26, to his pitch arsenal.
