AL East: Pitching reinforcements coming for Baltimore

Baltimore’s starting rotation has been among the league’s best in August, compiling a 2.38 ERA (2nd in MLB) backed by a 17.5 K-BB% (8th in MLB). This group also has reinforcements on the way, as a pair of rehabbing veterans, Kyle Bradish and Tyler Wells, are nearing returns to the big leagues.

Bradish, who is recovering from June 2024 Tommy John surgery, is nearing the conclusion of a rehab assignment that began on July 24. The team has indicated that Bradish will make one more rehab start this week, and he is expected to return to the big league rotation during Baltimore's series against Boston next week.
