AL West: 3B boost needed in Seattle?

After missing nearly three months on the IL, Brendan Donovan returned to the Mariners on August 4. He has made four starts at third base against right-handed pitchers, while sitting two games versus left-handed pitchers. He has two hits over 14 at-bats while striking out over 21% of the time. Over 10 rehab games, Donovan hit .122 with a home run while striking out 25% of the time. Donovan walked into the third base role with J.P. Crawford landing on the IL with wrist inflammation. The Mariners' offense could use a spark, and replacing Donovan in an everyday role could be what the team needs.
