AL West: Detmers' return looms in Anaheim

The Angels have had injury after injury to the lineup with Mike Trout and Luis Rengifo, but the starting rotation may also see some turnover soon. Davis Daniel and Carson Fulmer have been the fourth and fifth options in the starting rotation lately, while Reid Detmers is in Triple-A and may be close to a return. 

Detmers has been throwing in Triple-A since June 7 and many are clamoring for his return to the major league squad. Since his minor league stint began, he has made 10 starts with a 6.79 ERA and 67 K over 51.2 IP. The ratios have been bad at Triple-A, but the 20.3% K-BB is good. Earlier in the year, Detmers made 12 starts with the Angels and had a 6.14 ERA with a 4.04 SIERA and 15.5% K-BB.
