AL West: Wilson's time to shine for the A's

The A’s head into a hectic offseason that will see the team relocate to Sacramento for a few seasons. The consequences of that move may be the toughest part of the offseason for the A’s, as they are not losing much in terms of free agency outside of a few veteran pitchers.

With the offensive side of the game returning in 2025, the A’s will instead shake things up with some younger talent. Jacob Wilson is mainly taking over the full-time shortstop role. The A’s have had several shortstops this season, including Nick Allen and Max Schuemann. They have been serviceable, but it’s Wilson’s time to shine.
