AL West: Time for an outfield change in Sacramento?

The A’s have been doing a lot of moving and shaking with their roster over the last few weeks. One of their recent call-ups was Denzel Clarke, who has been playing center field daily. He patrols the outfield with Lawrence Butler, Tyler Soderstrom, Brent Rooker, and JJ Bleday. Most days, it’s Clarke, Butler, and Soderstrom with Rooker at DH, but they mix and match from time to time. 

Butler is locked into the leadoff spot and starting in the outfield every day. Soderstrom and Rooker will continue to find their way in the lineup as well. That leaves Clarke as a potential area in need of change. Clarke has made some of the greatest defensive plays we have seen in recent years, but his offense is dreadful and the A’s could...
