As anticipated, Jeff Francoeur (OF, KC) has been designated for assignment. Alex Gordon (OF, KC) will continue to play every day in left field. Jarrod Dyson (OF, KC), David Lough (OF, KC), and Lorenzo Cain (OF, KC) will probably split the ABs fairly evenly for the two other outfield positions for now. Lough has been a surprise since his May call-up, posting a .314 average, but he has benefited from a 35% h%. His xBA of .284 is a better forecast of his eventual BA. The biggest impact of Francouer’s departure for fantasy owners is Dyson’s increase in playing time and stolen base opportunity. He has 10 steals in 54 ABs already.
