The Rays' Alex Cobb (RHP, TAM) faces an uncertain timetable as he works his way back from a concussion suffered when he was struck by a line drive June 15. Cobb reportedly has some fluid behind his right ear and is having trouble with his balance, though he completed some on-field arm exercises June 20.

Alex Colome (RHP, TAM) started in Cobb’s place June 22, and at least one local paper indicates that Joe Maddon thinks Colome could be in Tampa for the long haul, regardless of Cobb’s recovery. The 24-year-old Colome has posted a 72/29 K/BB over 70.2 IP with AAA-Durham and makes an intriguing add in AL-only leagues. Colome struggled with his control in his June 22 start against the Yankees, however, walking five while...
