DIVISIONAL OUTLOOK: AL East—Who's happier than an Ivan Nova owner?

There are few fantasy owners happier right now than those of Iván Nova (RHP, NYY). Not only has Nova continued to pitch exceedingly well, posting his fifth PQS-DOM in his last six starts August 9, but all of the already-dwindling threats to his place in the Yankees' rotation have receded further into the background.

The rehabilitation of Michael Pineda (RHP, NYY) has been shut down for a week-to-10 days after he experienced shoulder stiffness in a rehab start August 2. David Phelps (RHP, NYY) is on the sidelines with an elbow strain, and the season of Vidal Nuno (LHP, NYY) is expected to be over due to a groin injury.

Nova deserved to stick in the Yankees' rotation on merit alone. Note, for example, his lofty position...
