DIVISIONAL OUTLOOK: NL Central—Pirates rotation is rolling

Pittsburgh Pirates

Most of the Pirates rotation seems to be pretty set moving forward with the recent news that Wandy Rodriguez (LHP, PIT) will be out until at least late September as per his visit with Dr. James Andrews after feeling discomfort in his forearm. This is great news for Gerrit Cole (RHP, PIT, pictured) and Charlie Morton (RHP, PIT), as they had been the likely candidates to be replaced in a Rodriguez return. Both are putting together tremendous skills in the stretch run, which can also be said for all but one member of the rotation, Jeff Locke (LHP, PIT). Locke's skills pale in comparison to the rest of the staff since July 1:
