NL Central: Could the deadline open a rotation spot for Dobbins?

The Cardinals and their youth movement have overperformed for most of the season, but this week they finally spent a day under .500 after dropping the first two games of a four game set against the Chicago Cubs. The Cardinals are in a tricky position as the trade deadline looms. The good news is they are just 2.5 games out of a wild card spot in the National League, which might lead them to add at the deadline. The bad news is there are four teams between them and the last wild card spot, which could lead them to sell.

One way to thread that needle is to make some small moves with players on expiring contracts while still supplementing a young roster that has been excellent through the first three months of the season...
