The demotion of Jordan Walker (OF, STL) in St. Louis should perhaps set off alarm bells regarding Henry Davis (C/OF, PIT). While the reports of his Opening Day roster spot being in jeopardy always seemed a bit overblown, he’s since struggled mightily (-179 BPX) and was pinch-hit for in two key situations within the last week. His grip on the starting catcher role has also started to slip since the acquisition of Joey Bart (C, PIT), who has excelled in a small sample in direct contrast to Davis (166 xPX,109 HctX in 31 PA).
