The start of the season has been alarming for Kyle Hendricks (RHP, CHC). After returning from a shoulder injury in much better form than anticipated in May of 2023, he was able to put together some vintage results (3.74 ERA) but with only mediocre skills (11% K-BB, 45 GB%) throughout the rest of the campaign.  Perhaps the gap between his ERA and xERA (4.53) was a warning sign of things to come in 2024, but after three turns through the rotation, Hendricks has given up 17 earned runs across only 12.2 innings. He may get some deference as the most veteran member of the team and certainly of the rotation. 

The slow start could also mean Hendricks will no longer have a spot in the rotation. Jameson Taillon (RHP, CHC) could be...
