NL Central: MIL needs all arms on deck

Milwaukee Brewers

The hits keep coming for the Brewers’ rotation as Robert Gasser (RHP, MIL) looks to be facing a long-term absence due to an elbow injury. That leaves the team with five starters currently on the injured list (excluding Brandon Woodruff, who re-signed with the team with the understanding he wouldn’t pitch in 2024). Fortunately, Milwaukee will seemingly have some good news on the way, as both Joe Ross (RHP, MIL) and Jakob Junis (RHP, MIL) are nearing a return. Ross was never expected to be sidelined long, though there’s also been very little in terms of updates as to his status. Thankfully, we know more about Junis, as he began a rehab assignment on June 4 and could be back within a few turns in the rotation.
