NL Central: What should the Reds expect from Matt McLain

The Reds are a fun young offensive team playing half of their games in one of the best offensive environments in baseball. But they are also a team with some question marks heading into the season. Perhaps no question looms larger for Cincinnati's ball club than what the 2025 team should actually expect from Matt McLain.

McLain came up with a bang in 2023 putting together an outstanding season that saw him hit .290/.357/.507 in 409 plate appearances. He had 16 home runs and 14 stolen bases during that campaign. He also reported to spring training Monday with pitchers and catchers, which was surely a great sign for Reds fans.
