The recent signing of SS Geraldo Perdomo to a four-year, $45 million contract extension appears to clear up some questions about the Diamondbacks roster heading into the season. Perdomo, a career .235/.327/.330 hitter over 1,420 career PA in three-plus seasons with the Diamondbacks, looks like he will now be a fixture in the starting lineup for the next few years. Despite missing a little over two months with a right meniscus tear, Perdomo had his best season in 2024, hitting .273/.344/.374 with 3 HR and 9 SB over 388 PA. When healthy he played almost every day at SS, making 97 appearances at the position and playing solid defense over the course of the season.
