NL West: Freeman has earned regular playing time in COL

Colorado Rockies

Rockies OF Tyler Freeman has been a fairly regular fixture in the Rockies lineup in RF or at DH since returning from the IL on May 17. He has picked up his production in June, resulting in increased playing time, appearing in all 15 of the teams games in June, starting 14 of them. Since June 1 he has hit .391/.500/.587 with 1 HR, 9 R and 3 SB in 58 PA. He recently moved to the second spot in the batting order, where he will benefit from more PAs and hitting in front of C Hunter Goodman and 3B Ryan McMahon, who has heated up in May and June after a very slow start.

While it is usually difficult to predict what the Rockies will do with their lineup, Freeman looks well-positioned to continue to get virtually every day...
