Alex Faedo (RHP, DET) is currently making his mark in the big leagues for the Tigers. Once a prized first-round draft pick out of Florida, the righty underwent ulnar collateral ligament reconstruction surgery in December of 2020. After healing and strengthening up through 2021, Faedo received his opportunity in Motown and has run with it in 2022, posting a 2.87 ERA through three starts and 15.2 innings. Detroit has needed his contributions with Faedo’s fellow young arms Casey Mize (RHP, DET) and Matt Manning (RHP, DET) suffering their own injury setbacks. While this feel-good story has Tigers fans optimistic about Faedo’s future, there are some underlying concerns about his ability to continue this rate of ERA success....
