The Twins’ CF situation bears watching the rest of spring training. Going into the spring Aaron Hicks (OF, MIN) and Jordan Schafer (OF, MIN) were set to battle for the starting position as discussed in an earlier PT TOMORROW column. However, Eddie Rosario (OF, MIN) has emerged as a dark horse candidate to start. Rosario has not played above Double-A, but a strong Arizona Fall League (he was runner-up for the batting title) and an impressive spring so far (7 H in his first 23 AB with 2 HR and four extra base hits) has placed him in the competition with Hicks and Schafer. Rosario did not have a strong season in Double-A last year (.237/.277/.396 in 316 AB) after serving a drug suspension, but in 2013 he batted...
