While the north side of Chicago has gone crazy over the arrivals of Kris Bryant (3B, CHC) and Addison Russell (SS, CHC) the south side has their own highly touted rookie arriving this week in the person of Carlos Rodón (LHP, CHW). Rodon was profiled in Call-ups here, and Mike Shears discussed the possibility of Rodon moving into the rotation at the expense of John Danks (LHP, CHW) in PT Today here. Another possible path into the rotation is through fifth starter Hector Noesí (RHP, CHW). Noesi has displayed marginal skills in parts of four major league seasons.
